Jilaine Swim creates high-quality sustainable swimwear, and our #1 goal is customer satisfaction. We are a small business and we hand-check each order before it ships. If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, please give us the opportunity to make it right.
Jilaine Swim issues store credit notes for all returns except for items marked as “Final Sale”.
If you are dissatisfied for any reason, we are happy to provide store credit for new, unused, unwashed items with tags in place and free of any odors, in original and resalable condition as long as the item is returned within the first 14 days of purchase with the original receipt. We do not process refunds. We offer store credit or exchange only.
We carefully inspect the goods three separate times before we ship your order to ensure there is no damage to the product. However, if you notice any damage to your purchase upon delivery, please contact us at info@jilaineswim.com within (24) hours from the time your package was delivered so we can arrange for a replacement or repair.
We are unable to accept exchange of any items without the original receipt or gift receipt. Items being returned without a receipt may be given a store credit for the lowest selling, current price of that item.
Final Sale, Sale and Clearance items are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned for store credit.
For all returns, Jilaine Swim must be contacted within (14) days from the delivery date of your package for a return authorization number.
Your return must be shipped and postmarked within (7) days from receiving your return authorization number.
The merchandise being returned must be in original condition. Unwashed, unworn, and unused with all tags and hygiene liners still intact and free of any odors, the way in which they were originally purchased.
Returns are typically processed within 5-7 business days from the date they are delivered to our warehouse although it may take some more time during busy periods.
We reserve the right to deny any return for any reason.
The Return Process:
Initiate your return at info@jilaineswim.com. Once you have been provided your RMA#, pack up your items in the original bag and packaging and follow the return instructions emailed to you.
We will cover the cost of return shipping once per domestic order. Note, we do not cover international returns.
If you decide to return a second time for the same order, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item(s). If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item(s). These shipping costs are non-refundable.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

What is your inspiration for your own style?
Fashion bloggers and influencers draw a lot of inspiration for my personal style. I reach for fun and bold pieces while mixing textures. I would say my style is all over the board which makes it fun and exciting! I could be in my sneakers one day and in heels the next. It really just depends on how I feel that day or what the occasion is. I also draw inspiration through fashion weeks which can be seen a lot within Jilaine Swim. I'm always styling Jilaine pieces whether it's a casual day out with friends or a night out on the town.
Why did you choose FIDM?
I wanted to go with a school that offered creative majors, and not a traditional college - it just wasn’t for me. At first, I didn't even want to go to college, but once I found FIDM it was a perfect fit. I also considered cosmetology school, and I worked at MAC Cosmetics for a year!
What advice would you give your younger self?
Never give up on your passion. Even when you’re going through hard times, there is always a light at the end that will pull you through. I always felt I had a purpose to share something big, but never knew what it would be–except knowing it would be fashion related.
What’s the reason behind the name - Jilaine Swim?
Jilaine is my grandmother's name, and it was passed down to me as my middle name. The name is super unique which I love - The origin is from my great grandmother who loved both the names Jill and Elaine but couldn't decide on one. Therefore, she combined the two and that is how the name Jilaine came about. It has always felt super unique and creative, and it has special meaning since it came from my grandmother.
